International Conference: Presidential Conference on Infant & Mortality
August 8-9, 2008: The Presidential Conference on Infant & Mortality in Buenos Aires was a success for Rotary and for RFPD. Our brochures "Healthy Families for a Healthy Future", "Project Proposals for Rotary Clubs & Districts to Reduce Child & Maternal Mortality" and "Relationship between the Average Number of Children per Woman and Maternal and Infant Mortality in Countries of the Americas" were included in folders for 600 attendants. Our booth was visited throughout the day by many Rotarians who were very interested in RFPD. This has planted the seed for many projects in the ex- Zone 19-b. We think that this year shall Make Dreams Real for World Population and Sustainable Development with RFPD.Reported by Luis Serra, Area Coordinator for Latin America.
